




Faye Held is a senior at UC Berkeley graduating in May 2025 with a B.S. in Environmental Economics and Policy, a minor in Education, and a Certification in Design Innovation. While her academic path began with a focus on sustainability and analytics, Faye discovered her passion for art and design during her sophomore year. This led her to dive



deeply into graphic design and illustration, combining her creative vision with the strategic skills she has honed through studies in economics. Over the years, Faye has built a strong foundation in design principles, including typography, color theory, and form, drawing inspiration from art deco and contemporary styles.
The Certification in Design Innovation has further broadened her understanding of creative problem-solving and user-centered design concepts. She has diverse portfolio of freelance work and ongoing roles. Highlights include designing the 2024 Cal Ski Club Merchandise Campaign and producing promotional materials for Sticky Art Lab and UC Berkeley’s College of Engineering. She
This blend of creativity and analytical thinking positions Faye to thrive in roles that require both imaginative design and strategic execution.
currently works as a graphic and web designer for the Masters of Engineering program at Berkeley. Her background allows her to strategically analyze data and user interactions which inform impactful marketing campaigns and visual solutions.

Faye is eager to bring her passion for art and design into a full-time creative role after graduation.
